distributed to pantries throughout the state. Please refer to this list

Purchase produce and/or meat at affordable prices. A one-time (min
$5.00) lifetime membership fee is suggested. 2 hours of community
service is required for each order. Order on line www.crossroads-uc.
org deadline posted on order form. Prices are $21.00 for full order
of meat/produce, $15.00 for half order of meat/produce and $14.00
produce only. Area served: Salt Lake, Tooele, Weber (Ogden), Utah
(Provo), Counties. Horizon, credit card, checks accepted.
DROPS
(Delivery Redistribution of Produce and Surplus)
DROPS is a program of the Utah Food Bank that distributes
donations including fresh produce, dairy products, and day old bread
to sites in neighborhoods throughout the state of Utah.

FOOD STAMPS
Food Stamps are designed to improve the nutrition of people with
low incomes by providing benefits to cover part of their
household’s food budget. Anyone who meets eligibility requirements
is entitled to receive these benefits.
The Department of Workforce Services administers the Food Stamp
program in Utah. To find an office near you, please call 313-4600.
WIC
(Women, Infants, and Children)
WIC Provides specific nutritious food supplement to pregnant,
postpartum, and breast-feeding women. And to infants and children
up to five years of age who have been determined to be at nutritional
risk because of inadequate nutrition and income.
WIC provides food vouchers to eligible participants in order to
purchase approved supplemental, nutritious food.
